The judicial district Stainz was until June 30, 2014 the District Court Stainz under standing judicial district in the state of Styria . It comprised the northern part of the political district of Deutschlandsberg . On July 1, 2014, the Stainz judicial district was dissolved and merged with the Deutschlandsberg judicial district . Until March 26, 2015, when the renovation work in the Deutschlandsberg courthouse was completed, the former courthouse in Stainz was still operated as a branch of the Deutschlandsberg district court.

history

The judicial district of Stainz was created by a proclamation of the state court introduction commission passed in 1849. Originally it comprised the 38 communities Blumegg , Breitenbach , Ettendorf , Gams , Gamsgebirg , Gersdorf , Gießenberg , Grafendorf , Graggerer , Graschuh , Greisdorf , Gundersdorf , Herbersdorf , Kothvogel , Lannach , Lasselsdorf , Mettersdorf , Neudorf , Neurath , Niedergams , Pichling , Pirkhof , Raßach , Roßegg , Sierling , St. Josef , St. Stefan , Stainz , Stallhof , Teipel , Tobisegg , Trog , Vochera , Wald , Wetzelsdorf , Wieselsdorf , Wildbach and Zirknitz .

In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district of Stainz, together with the judicial districts of Deutsch-Landsberg and Eibiswald, formed the district of Deutsch-Landsberg .

With effect from January 1, 1889, the Wildbach community was detached from the district of the Stainz district court and assigned to the Deutschlandsberg judicial district.

On July 1, 2014, the judicial district was dissolved and the municipalities assigned to the Deutschlandsberg judicial district.

Courthouse

Following the amalgamation of the twelve municipalities of Bad Gams , Georgsberg , Greisdorf , Gundersdorf , Lannach , Marhof , Rassach , Sankt Josef , Sankt Stefan ob Stainz , Stainz , Stainztal and Stallhof, the judicial district of Stainz comprised the northern part of the Deutschlandsberg district.
