The judicial district Arnfels was the District Court Arnfels under standing judicial district in the state of Styria . The judicial district comprised the southern part of the political district of Leibnitz and was added to the judicial district of Leibnitz in 1976 .

history

The judicial district of Arnfels was created by a proclamation made by the State Court Introductory Commission in 1849 and originally comprised the six communities of Arnfels , Gleinstätten , Kappel , Klein , Leutschach and St. Johann . In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district of Arnfels, together with the judicial districts of Leibnitz and Wildon, formed the district of Leibnitz .

1910 and included the judicial district 229.01 km² reduced after the First World War to 186.13 square kilometers, the judicial district the church Kappel entirely and parts of the town shine the municipality gloss and parts of towns Großwalz, Remschnigg and Schlossberg the town of Castle Hill on the newly formed Kingdom of Yugoslavia had to cede.

After Austria's annexation in 1939, the court was renamed the Arnfels District Court and was now subordinate to the Graz Regional Court . In 1945 it was renamed the District Court again.

In the course of the amalgamation of several judicial districts, the judicial district of Arnfels was dissolved and merged with the judicial district of Leibnitz on October 1, 1976.

At the time of its dissolution, the court district comprised the ten communities of Arnfels , Eichberg-Trautenburg , Glanz an der Weinstraße , Gleinstätten , Großklein , Leutschach , Oberhaag , Pistorf , Sankt Johann im Saggautal and Schloßberg .
