The judicial district Friedberg was the District Court Friedberg under standing judicial district in the state of Styria . The judicial district comprised parts of the political district Hartberg and was added to the judicial district Hartberg in 1976 .

history

The judicial district Friedberg was created by a proclamation of the State Court Introductory Commission passed in 1849 and originally comprised the nine communities Friedberg , Ehrenschachen , Pingau , Dechantskirchen , Schlag , Hochenau , St. Lorenzen , Schäffern and Sparbaregg .

The District Court Friedberg formed the political from the judicial administration from 1868 together with the course of the separation jurisdictions Hartberg , Pöllauberg and Vorau the Hartberg district .

After Austria's annexation in 1939, the court was renamed the Friedberg District Court and was now subordinate to the Graz Regional Court . In 1945 it was renamed the District Court again.

After the federal government had decided by ordinance to dissolve the judicial districts Friedberg, Pöllau and Vorau, the judicial district Friedberg was added to the judicial district Hartberg on October 1, 1976.

On July 1, 2013, the Hartberg judicial district was dissolved and the municipalities assigned to the Fürstenfeld judicial district.

At the time of its dissolution, the court district comprised the six communities of Dechantskirchen , Friedberg , Pinggau , Sankt Lorenzen am Wechsel , Schäffern , Schlag bei Thalberg .
