Limbach bei Neudau is a former municipality with 351 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2015) in the Hartberg-Fürstenfeld district in Styria ( Austria ). On January 1, 2015, their area was divided into:
- Market municipality Bad Waltersdorf (cadastral municipality Oberlimbach, 417.14 ha)
- Market municipality Neudau (cadastral municipality Unterlimbach 352.20 ha)
The basis for this is the Styrian municipal structural reform .

Geographical location
Limbach bei Neudau is located in the east Styrian hill country approx. 12 km southeast of the district capital Hartberg and approx. 45 km east of the provincial capital Graz . The area is between the valley of the Safen and the valley of the Lafnitz and drained towards the Lafnitz.

The community was made up of the two cadastral communities and towns of the same name, Oberlimbach (100 inhabitants) and Unterlimbach (230 inhabitants) (as of October 31, 2011) .

Limbach bei Neudau is on the state road from Sebersdorf to Neudau . The south autobahn A2 from Vienna to Graz is about five kilometers away and can be reached via the Sebersdorf / Bad Waltersdorf junction (126). The Güssinger Straße B 57 from Oberwart to Güssing is about ten kilometers away.
Limbach bei Neudau has no rail connection. However, in the neighboring municipality of Bad Waltersdorf there is access to the Thermenbahn with two-hour regional train connections to Vienna and Fehring .
The Graz Airport is about 65 km away.
