Piberegg was a municipality with 335 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019) in the judicial district or district of Voitsberg in Styria . Since 2015 it has been merged with the municipality of Bärnbach as part of the municipal structural reform in Styria , the new municipality continues to bear the name Bärnbach.

Piberegg is located west of Graz .

Community structure

The only cadastral municipality of the same name in the former municipality comprised two localities (residents as of January 1, 2020):

  • Piberegg Rollsiedlung (170) (also Josef-Roll-Siedlung )

politics

The last mayor was Siegfried Reinprecht (SPÖ). The municipal council consisted of nine members from 2010 until the municipality was dissolved: SPÖ: 6 and ÖVP 3 seats.
