Damian Andrzej Muskus OFM (born September 6, 1967 in Nowa Sarzyna ) is a Polish clergyman and auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Krakow .

Life

Damian Andrzej Muskus joined the Order of the Franciscans (OFM) and made perpetual profession on October 4, 1991 . On 12 June 1993 he received by the Archbishop of Lviv , Marian Cardinal Jaworski , the ordination .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on July 16, 2011 titular bishop of Amaia and auxiliary bishop in Krakow . The Archbishop of Kraków, Cardinal Stanisław Dziwisz , ordained him episcopal on September 28 of the same year ; Co - consecrators were Cardinal Franciszek Macharski , Old Archbishop of Kraków, and Cardinal Stanisław Ryłko , President of the Pontifical Council for the Laity . As a motto he chose Ecce Mater tua .

Damian Muskus was Chief Coordinator of World Youth Day 2016 in Krakow.
