The Fortenberry Glacier is a glacier on the Pennell Coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It lies on the north side of Tapsell Foreland and flows north to Yule Bay , which it reaches 5 km east of Ackroyd Point .
The United States Geological Survey mapped him on the basis of own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1970 after Lieutenant Ralph Morgan Fortenberry (* 1932) of the US Navy, medical officer the McMurdo station in 1960.
