Fortunato Zampaglione

Fortunato Zampaglione (* 1975 in Monza ) is an Italian songwriter and singer.

Career

Zampaglione is of Sicilian descent and comes from a musical family: his father and grandfather were already active as songwriters. He released his first single Gioia in 2000, his debut album in 1975 was released in late 2001. He worked with the guitarist Andrea Zuppini .

Since then Zampaglione has worked exclusively as a songwriter, u. a. for Emma Marrone , Francesca Michielin or Giusy Ferreri . With Il mio giorno più bello nel mondo , sung by Francesco Renga , he achieved a number one hit for the first time in 2014 , a success that he achieved in the same year with Guerriero and in 2015 with Ti ho voluto bene veramente , both for Marco Mengoni , could repeat. Patty Pravo performed at the Sanremo Festival 2016 with the song Cieli immensi, written by Zampaglione, and won the critic's award.
