The FORUM MEDIA GROUP (FMG) is an international media company based in Merching near Augsburg . FMG is one of the “largest specialist publishers in Germany” ( Börsenblatt , 2016). In 2015 it was ranked 41st in the book report ranking “The 100 largest publishers” in Germany.
In 2018 the group celebrates its 30th anniversary and employs more than 1,200 people in Europe, Asia, North America and Australia. The annual turnover achieved in 2017 was 110 million euros.
Business areas
The core business of FMG is in the 3 areas of information, education and entertainment. In the B2B area, the specialist publishers prepare specialist information and make it available to the target groups. In addition to traditional print media such as loose-leaf publications , books , specialist journals and magazines, the portfolio also includes digital media such as software products , DVDs , newsletters , online solutions and web portals. In addition, the media companies organize congresses , seminars and special training offers for specialists and managers.
Individual publishers in the FORUM MEDIA GROUP also target private users. DoldeMedien Verlag in Stuttgart publishes magazines, yearbooks and online publications on the subjects of mobile leisure, travel and nutrition.
