The Fossey River is a river in the northwest of the Australian state of Tasmania .

geography

River course

The river has its source on the northern slopes of Mount Pearse, southeast of the small town of Waratah . It flows east and passes under the Murchison Highway . About one and a half kilometers west of the Guildford settlement it flows into the Hellyer River .
