The spring plants ( location ) are a park in the Au district of the Bavarian capital Munich .

They extend on the right bank of the Isar from the Wittelsbacherbrücke / Humboldtstraße to the derivation of the Kleine Isar north of the Reichenbachbrücke . They are bounded to the south-east by Eduard-Schmidt-Strasse and Claude-Lorrain-Strasse. The area measures around 16.3  hectares , including an 835 m long and 5.8 hectare bank strip that belongs to the flood bed of the renatured Isar .

The Eduard-Schmid-Straße amusement park and the Munich city nursery ( location ) are located in the grounds . From Humboldtstrasse to the city nursery, the open - air swimming pool , which is otherwise mostly underground, flows over a length of around 165 meters through the facilities. To the south of the Reichenbachbrücke, on the edge of the children's playground, there is a fountain created by Wolf Hirtreiter in 1972 ( Lage ) . The Willow Island ( Lage ) is located on the Isar at the height of the city nursery .
