François Beaugendre (born July 25, 1880 in Salbris , † January 6, 1936 in Paris ) was a French cyclist.

François Beaugendre was a professional racing cyclist from 1903 to 1911. During these years he competed four times in the Tour de France . At the first edition in 1903 it was ninth in the overall ranking and in 1907 fifth. When he participated in 1904 , he gave up after the fifth stage. Due to numerous incidents during the race (collusion, bribery, trips by car or train, etc.) the four leading drivers were disqualified and another 29 were sanctioned. Beaugendre was subsequently declared the winner of the fourth stage from Toulouse to Bordeaux , so that at the time of his task he was in fact the leader in the overall standings. In 1908 he was ranked 13th overall. When his brother Omer won Paris-Tours in 1908 , Francois was seventh.

Beaugendre was one of six brothers. In addition to Omer, his brother Joseph was also a cyclist.
