The group von Finck is also with 14.96% (until November 11, 2009: 25.5%) of the capital and voting rights in the international Swiss Warenprüfkonzern Societe Generale de Surveillance involved (SGS SA) and François von Finck, where it holds at least 3% of the shares.

Furthermore, François von Finck has been a member of the supervisory board of Finck'schen Beteiligungs- und Immobiliengesellschaft Custodia Holding AG , based in Munich, since 1999 - a company that took over 25.8% of Hochtief AG shares in 2006 and in spring 2007 with around half a billion Euro profit resold.

Party donations

In January 2010, Spiegel Online reported on party donations from the von Finck family, who run 14 hotels in Germany, to the German FDP . Accordingly, between October 2008 and October 2009, she transferred 1.1 million euros to the FDP via her Düsseldorf-based Substantia AG . Due to their majority stake in the Mövenpick Group - indirectly controlled by François von Finck as Chairman of the Board of Directors (Carlton-Holding AG) - the donations were criticized by the opposition parties in the German Bundestag. They saw a connection between the donation to the FDP and the tax relief operated by this party for hotel companies in Germany through the so-called Growth Acceleration Act , which came into force on January 1, 2010. The father, August von Finck, is now accused of support from the AfD .
