Françoise Bozon (born February 24, 1963 in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc ) is a former French ski racer whose strongest discipline was the downhill . She took part in the 1982 World Cup and was twice in the top ten in the World Cup .

biography

Without having won any points in the World Cup by then , Bozon took part in the World Championship in Schladming / Haus im Ennstal in January / February 1982 . In her only major event, she was 21st in the downhill and 23rd in the combination, where she finished the combination downhill in tenth place. Shortly after the World Cup, Bozon won her first World Cup points with two 15th places in the downhill runs from Arosa and the following month she was twelfth in the giant slalom in San Sicario . In addition, she became French combined champion in 1982 .

Bozon achieved her best World Cup result on December 15, 1982 with fifth place in the downhill from San Sicario. After that, she remained without World Cup points for over a year until she finished eighth in the Verbier descent on January 21, 1984 for a second time among the top ten. Eight days later, with eleventh place in the combination of Megève / Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, she won World Cup points for the seventh and last time in her career.
