Franc Roddam

Franc Roddam (* 29. April 1946 as Francis George Roddam in Norton (now a suburb of Stockton-on-Tees ), England ) is a British film director , screenwriter and producer .

Career

Franc Roddam invented the British television series “Auf Wiedersehen, Pet” and “ MasterChef ”, a widely copied cooking game show on the BBC . He was a copywriter before going to London Film School . His first short film, Birthday (1969) was nominated for a BAFTA Award .
