Francis Anani Kofi Lodonu (born November 19, 1937 in Gbi Atabu near Hohoe ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop emeritus of Ho .

Life

Francis Anani Kofi Lodonu was ordained a priest on May 18, 1964 and was incardinated in the clergy of the diocese of Keta on December 13, 1984 .

Pope Paul VI appointed him on May 17, 1973 auxiliary bishop in Keta and titular bishop of Mascula . The Pope personally donated him episcopal ordination on June 29 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Agostino Casaroli , Undersecretary of the Council for Public Affairs of the Church, and Bernardin Gantin , Secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples .

On April 10, 1976, he was appointed Bishop of Keta-Ho . With the division of the diocese of Keta-Ho, he was appointed the first bishop of Ho on February 19, 1994 .

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on July 14, 2015.
