Emmanuel Fianu

Emmanuel Kofi Fianu SVD (born June 14, 1957 in Tegbi near Keta , Ghana ) is a Ghanaian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Ho .

Life

Emmanuel Fianu joined the Congregation of the Divine Word Missionaries in and received on 14 July 1985, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Ho on July 14, 2015 . He was ordained episcopal on October 3 of the same year by the President of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace , Cardinal Peter Turkson . Co- consecrators were his predecessor Francis Anani Kofi Lodonu and the Apostolic Nuncio in Ghana, Archbishop Jean-Marie Speich .
