Francis Folorunsho Clement Alonge (born March 1, 1935 in Ado-Ekiti , Ekiti State , Nigeria ) is Bishop Emeritus of Ondo .

Life

After studying Catholic theology, Francis Folorunsho Clement Alonge was ordained a priest in 1963 and then worked for ten years in the parish pastoral care .

Pope Paul VI appointed him on December 17, 1973 titular bishop of Thignica and auxiliary bishop in Ondo. He was ordained bishop by the Apostolic Delegate in Nigeria , Girolamo Prigione , on April 21, 1974; Co- consecrators were Patrick Ebosele Ekpu , Bishop of Benin City , and William Richard Field SMA , Bishop of Ondo.

On May 31, 1976 he was appointed Bishop of Ondo. On November 26, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI. his resignation request submitted for reasons of age.
