Career

society

Defensive player Majewski, who was later called El Caballero del área , played in his youth with Colombea, a team from his barrio . As a 15-year-old, already 1.84 meters tall, he joined the Club Atlético Peñarol . He belonged from 1958 to 1960, according to other sources until 1961, the squad Peñarols in the Primera División . However, he was not part of the team at the "Aurinegros" during the years of his membership. He was merely playing the role of substitute for William Martínez . His club won the Uruguayan championship in the seasons 1958 , 1959 , 1960 and 1961 . In 1960 and 1961, his club also secured the title of the Copa Libertadores, which at the time was still known as the Copa Campeones de América . In the 1960 competition he was a substitute in the final first leg against Club Olimpia . In the second leg of the 1960 World Cup , which was ultimately left to opponents Real Madrid , coach Roberto Scarone set him up from the start. From 1961 to 1962, CF Atlante was his employer in Mexico. His coach there was Jorge Marik . From the 1963/64 season to the 1970/71 season he was under contract with Necaxa . The statistics show a total of four goals scored for him during this period. At Necaxa he formed with Carlos Albert one of the most important defender pairs in the Mexican league.

National team

He was also a member of a youth team at the South American Championship in Caracas .
