Francisco Motors Corporation was a Filipino manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Anastacio Francisco founded the company in 1960. He started assembling and producing automobiles. The brand name was Francisco , abbreviated FMC . In 1979 around 16 vehicles were built per week. The company worked with Isuzu , from the 1980s with Mazda and finally with Hyundai . Production ended in 2002 when the company was dissolved. First Las Piñas , later Razal and finally Makati City are recorded as places .

Francisco initially assembled Isuzu vehicles.

The company also made jeepneys . Various diesel engines from Isuzu and Fuso , and from the 1980s also from Mazda, powered the vehicles.

The Anfra model was a passenger car .
