GRP Systems & Fabricators Inc. was a Filipino manufacturer of automobiles . It is also known as Lawin Motors .
Company history
The Makati City company started producing automobiles in 1989. The brand name was GRP . Production ended in 2006.
vehicles
The company made based on off-road vehicles from Isuzu and Toyota own vehicles with a body made of plastic . A source says it was the first Filipino manufacturer of fiberglass car bodies . Many vehicles were used as taxis .
The Lawin model was a sedan and the Alamid model was a pick-up . In the four-door sedan, it was a version of the Opel Kadett C .
One source states that jeepneys were also created.
