Franck Olivier Christian François David (born March 21, 1970 in Paris ) is a former French windsurfer .
successes
At the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona he was before Michael Gebhardt and Lars Kleppich in windsurfing in the boat class Lechner A-390 Olympic champion . With a total score of 70.7 points, he was only just ahead of Gebhardt, who got 71.1 points. The decisive factor was David's victory in the final tenth race, in which Gebhardt was only third. In the same year David was also world champion in Cadiz . In 1991 he had finished third at the World Championships in Singapore .
