Franco Croci (born June 25, 1930 in Milan , Italy ) is a retired Curia Bishop of the Roman Catholic Church .

Life

Franco Croci was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Crema on September 30, 1961 .

Pope . John Paul II appointed him on December 3, 1999 Titular Bishop of Potentia in Piceno and the secretary of the Prefecture for the Economic Affairs of the Holy See and donated him on 6 January 2000 in St. Peter's Basilica , the episcopal ordination ; Co-consecrators were the Archbishops of the Curia Giovanni Battista Re and Marcello Zago OMI .

On September 3, 2007, Benedict XVI. his resignation request submitted for reasons of age. On October 13, 2007 he was appointed Vice President of the Pontifical Labor Office. He resigned from this office on January 1, 2010.

Franco Croci has been Grand Prior of the Lieutenancy Italia Centrale of the Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem since 2010 .
