Franco Ferrini (actually Francesco Ferrini ; born January 5, 1944 in Pignone ) is an Italian screenwriter and film director .

Life

Ferrini graduated from the University of Pisa in foreign languages ​​(Lingue e Letterature straniere); Then he founded the film club "Charlie Chaplin" and the film magazine "Giovane Cinema" with his boyfriend Enzo Ungari (* July 13, 1948, † February 22, 1985). Over the years he switched to larger periodicals and in 1971 edited a special edition of "Bianco e Nero", which was dedicated to Sergio Leone .

The active entry into the film business was formed by some engagements as an actor at the beginning of the 1970s and two scripts that were written in that decade.
