action

In 1983 the detective Ulisse Moretti investigated a series of murders in Turin that the press called "the dwarf murders". The prime suspect, a short man named Vincenzo de Fabritiis, died of suicide and the case was deemed closed. A similar series of murders begins 17 years later. Moretti, who is already retired, is entrusted with the investigation. He works closely with Giacomo, whose mother was also murdered in 1983. After Moretti dies of a heart attack, it turns out that Lorenzo, Giacomo's childhood friend, committed the murders then as now. When Lorenzo Giacomo's friend Gloria also wants to kill, he is shot by the police.

Reviews

“A very carefully crafted psychological thriller with which Dario Argento can build on the beginnings of his work without, of course, setting new signals. Solid entertainment that often takes a rough pace. "
