Franek Haschke

Franek Haschke (born March 28, 1980 in Potsdam ) is a former German athlete who was successful in the 1,500 meter run .

Haschke has been German youth and junior champions several times and won gold at the 1999 European Junior Championships in Riga. In the adult sector, she was first German champion in 2001 in the hall. The following year he also won the German championship outdoors and was nominated for the 2002 European championships in Munich, where he was eliminated in the preliminary stages. In the same year he was fourth in the European Cup and fifth in the World Cup .

In 2003 Haschke was able to defend his championship title and finished fifth in the European Cup. In 2004 he was German indoor champion for the second time and outdoor champion for the third time in 2005. At the European Cup he finished fifth again this year. In 2008 he won the German championships in cross-country running and with the 3 × 1000 m relay. In 2009 he let his sports career end.

Haschke started for SV Preußen Berlin , LAC Quelle Fürth / Munich 1860 , LG Asics Pirna and LG Nord Berlin . He studied medicine and became a doctor.
