Frank Eberlein

Frank Eberlein (* 1969 in Naumburg ) is a German journalist , moderator , editor , reporter , author and known as a fan of the Olsen Gang .

Life

Eberlein works as an editor and presenter for radio , for example for Voice of the GDR , Radio Aktuell , Berliner Rundfunk and Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR). Among other things, he moderates the "80s Hit Night" at MDR Sachsen-Anhalt every Friday .

He was best known for his publications on the Danish film series Die Olsenbande . These are considered standard works for the genre of the Olsen Gang, including Danish films in general . Over the years he has compiled a comprehensive archive on the Olsen Gang and their actors and makers. In 1996 he published his first book on the Olsen Gang with Frank-Burkhard Habel . In the Danish book "Skidegodt Egon! 30 år med Olsen-Gang" he is called the ultimate fan . He accompanied the shooting of the fourteenth and final film in the series, The (really) very last trick of the Olsen Gang , which was made in 1998 and in which he also had a guest appearance. This makes him the only German actor who ever appeared in the "Olsenbande" film series. He published further extensive additions to the Olsen Gang in the expanded new edition of his fan book published in 2000. In 2001 he published another book entitled The Large Lexicon of the Olsen Gang. Since 2009 Eberlein has published several media combinations (consisting of a book and a CD) on various music topics, especially from the GDR and Eastern Europe, for the Weltbild publishing group . Eberlein also works as a consultant, editor and author for the music industry, for example for Sony Music Entertainment , EMI Music and Universal Music .
