Frank Hofmann (journalist)

Frank Hofmann (born November 14, 1962 ) is a German journalist and non-fiction author. He is currently the editor-in-chief of the ecumenical association Another Times .

biography

After studying philosophy and German literature from 1981 to 1986 at the University of Dusseldorf he received his doctorate, funded by the studienstiftung , to Dr. phil . The dissertation was awarded the Drupa Prize in 1988.

After an internship at the Motor Presse Stuttgart publishing group from 1986 to 1988, he worked as an editor and department head for the magazines Motorrad , auto motor und sport and Stern . In 1996 he became deputy editor-in-chief and publisher of the German edition of Men's Health in 1999 . Between 2001 and 2008 he was editor-in-chief of the men's lifestyle magazine he designed, Best Life, and from 2007 to 2013 editor-in-chief of the German edition of Runner's World . On January 1, 2014, he became editor-in-chief of the ecumenical association Andere Zeiten . In 2018 he was awarded a Dr. theol. PhD.

Hofmann is married and has one child. During the time of his first marriage he published under the family name Hofmann-Grüneberg.
