Frank Möller (born July 11, 1967 in Mainz ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

player

Frank Möller played at Alemannia Laubenheim in the A class until 1989. Then he was in the squad of 1. FSV Mainz 05 . In the 1989/90 season Möller fought with Mainz after relegation from the 2nd Bundesliga in the Oberliga Südwest for points. Möller and the team managed to return to German professional football straight away and rose. Möller was a regular player in League 2 and completed 33 missions, in the following season he came to 21 missions in the southern season. The Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt became aware of him through his performance and committed him to the second half of the 1991/92 season . At Eintracht Frankfurt he made his debut under coach Dragoslav Stepanović on matchday 23 in the game against VfL Bochum . During the season he completed 13 missions. In the 1991/92 season he broke his right fibula in a game at Hansa Rostock after a foul. After the injury had healed, Frank Möller suffered a cruciate and medial ligament tear in his right knee joint during training. In the following two seasons he came on three missions. Then he moved to 1. FC Nürnberg . Möller played second division football there for another year. On the 4th match day, in the game at Fortuna Düsseldorf, he suffered another cruciate ligament tear, which meant the end of his career.

Today Frank Möller works as a sales representative in the sanitary and heating sector in a Mainz company.

Trainer

Möller trained the teams of FSV Oppenheim and its parent club Alemannia Laubenheim . He also trained youth teams at Alemannia Laubenheim and was on its board.
