Francis "Frank" DeSales McGee (born April 29, 1899 in Columbus , Ohio , † January 30, 1934 ibid) was an American baseball player .
Career
Frank McGee attended Ohio State University before making his American League debut with the Washington Senators in 1925, at the age of 26 . Almost two weeks later, the first baseman played his second and last professional game. His career in the minor leagues , which began in 1921 and led him from Florida to Ontario , among other places , he ended in 1929. In 1934 McGee died in his native Columbus and was buried in St. Joseph Cemetery in Lockbourne , Ohio.
