Frank Präger

Frank Präger (* 1961 ) is a German archivist and historian .

Life

Präger was born in Franconia . He studied German and history at the University of Erlangen . After the first state examination for teaching at grammar schools, he completed the doctoral program for Dr. phil. majoring in Bavarian and Franconian regional history. Since 2000 he has been in charge of the city archives of the city of Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate , where he also lives. The Neumarkt city archive is the second oldest after the Regensburg city archive in the Upper Palatinate district .

Präger is a member of the Historical Society for Neumarkt / OPf. and environment eV
