Rudolf "Rudi" Bayerl (born March 10, 1942 in Ballertshofen near Lauterhofen ) is an Upper Palatinate home nurse , non-fiction author , dialect poet and local politician ( UPW / FW Neumarkt).

Life

Bayerl is a retired primary and special school teacher . Most recently, he was vice principal of the Erwin-Lesch-Schule ( special needs school ) in Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate .

In 1974 he was appointed district home nurse in the Neumarkt district in the Upper Palatinate , and in 1991 he was also appointed city home nurse in Neumarkt. Among other things, he campaigned for the renovation and reconstruction of Marterln and field crosses , for example in the districts of Stauf , Holzheim and Pelchenhofen as well as at the wayside shrine “White Martyr” in front of the St. Maria court chapel in Weichselstein .

He has been a member since 1975 and has been chairman of the Historical Society for Neumarkt / OPf since 2004 . und Umgebung eV, and in this function was co-editor of several publications. As an author and founding member of the small dialect poets group " Sindlbacher Kreis" founded in the summer of 1981 on the initiative of Georg Gick , he dedicates himself to the care of dialect poetry . The group, to which Josef Fendl also belongs, published four volumes of poetry with self-written poems by the members in the series Gereimtes und Unreimtes from the Upper Palatinate . Among other things, he is also a founding member of the Oberpfälzer Volksmusikfreunde , heads the folk dance circle he founded in Neumarkt and is the association's folk dance representative.

Bayerl is a member of the UPW / FW Neumarkt voters' association. He has been a member of the Neumarkt district council since 1984, and has also been a member of the city council since 1990, and acts as a consultant for museums / monuments / archives. Among other things, the renovation of the city museum, the renovation of the listed Schreiberhaus ( Bräugasse 19 ) and the new construction of the city archive in Bräugasse 18 with 360 square meters of usable space on four levels fell during his tenure .

He has been a member of the supervisory board of Stadtwerke Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz since 1990, a member of the special purpose association assembly of Sparkasse Neumarkt idOPf.-Parsberg since 1990 and a member of the festive committee since 2008. Among other things, he participated in the Neumarkt Passion Play in 1999 and 2009 and also organized the Bavarian Home Days in Neumarkt in 1988 and 2009 .

From 1996 to 2014, like his CSU colleague Willibald Gailler, he was Deputy District Administrator.
