Frank Rainer check

Frank Rainer Scheck (born May 30, 1948 in Hallenberg ; † April 2013 ) was a German non-fiction author , editor and publisher .

Frank Rainer Scheck studied German , philosophy and theater studies . From 1976 he was an editor, from 1979 chief editor at a German publishing house. Between 1990 and 1992 he edited the twelve-volume series DuMont's Bibliothek des Fantastischen . From 1993 he was a freelance writer and published numerous non-fiction books and travel guides . He was also a connoisseur of fantastic literature. Scheck lived in Cologne.
