Frank Raki

Frank Raki (born March 17, 1967 in Oldenburg ) is a German screenwriter , dramaturge and writing coach.

life and work

Frank Raki studied New German Literature and Theater Studies at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich. He has completed various script seminars and has worked as an editor, script consultant and script doctor on over four hundred film projects, specializing primarily in genre material and adaptation advice.

His work as an author includes the event film Das Inferno - Flammen über Berlin and the transmedia concept Vier Affen , which was awarded the Transmedia Prize of the Fritz Gerlich Film Prize in 2016. Frank Raki has also published a fantastic romance novel under a different name.

Raki alternately heads the STOFF.lab authors' workshop at the Munich Film Workshop and teaches at the Munich University of Applied Sciences as a lecturer for artistic, visual, media and creative competence.

He is a member of the Fantastic Author Network and the Association of Film and Television Dramaturges. He lives in Munich.
