Career

Romero learned to play football on the school team at Aomori Yamada High School and the university team at Ryūtsū Keizai University . He signed his first contract with Mito HollyHock in 2011 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . For the club he completed 72 league games. In 2013 he moved to league competitor Montedio Yamagata . At the end of the 2013 season, the club rose to the J1 League . For the club, he completed 96 league games. In 2016 he moved to league rivals Albirex Niigata .
