Career

Romero learned to play football on the school team at Aomori Yamada High School and the university team at Ryūtsū Keizai University . He signed his first contract with Mito HollyHock in 2011 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . For the club he completed 72 league games. In 2013 he moved to league competitor Montedio Yamagata . At the end of the 2013 season, the club rose to the J1 League . For the club, he completed 96 league games. In 2016 he moved to league rivals Albirex Niigata . In 2016 he was loaned to the second division Mito HollyHock. For the club he completed 36 league games. In 2017 he returned to Albirex Niigata. For the club he completed 11 first division games.
