Frank Roos

Frank Roos (born June 11, 1976 in Mayen , Eifel ) is a German cameraman , aerial cinematographer and producer .

Life

Frank Roos grew up in Mayen, Rhineland-Palatinate, in the Vulkaneifel , where he attended Megina-Gymnasium . During his senior years he began a camera traineeship and from the age of 19 worked as a cameraman , initially for private and public television broadcasters . In 2001 he founded his production company "Fresh Brise Film" based in Cologne , which he still runs today together with director Roman Stricker.

In addition to documentaries , Frank Roos now mainly shoots and produces commercials , for which he has received numerous awards worldwide - including six Gold World Medals at the New York Festivals, most recently for the best cinematography and corporate social responsibility , as well as two Red Dot Design Awards for Art Direction and the best communication design . Since 2011, Frank Roos has combined his passion for flying with his work as a cameraman and has been responsible for the aerial photography of numerous documentaries, advertising and feature films.
