Frank Saborowski (born March 14, 1958 in Dinslaken ) is a former German football player and coach .
Career
As a defender for MSV Duisburg , Bayer 04 Leverkusen and VfL Bochum, Saborowski played a total of 118 Bundesliga games , in which he scored two goals, and made another 80 second division games for Duisburg and Rot-Weiss Essen . In the league relegated VfB 06 Langenfeld he took over the position of player- coach in 1989.
In later years he became a football coach and was often employed as an assistant coach in cooperation with “Jupp” Tenhagen - for example for 1. FC Bocholt , SG Wattenscheid 09 and second division club LR Ahlen . After a year with the Westphalian national league club SC Hassel , Saborowski returned to the Lower Rhine to his hometown club VfB Lohberg . In 2008, he led the district league team TV Jahn Hiesfeld to promotion to the state league. Then he trained in the first half of 2008/09 the Westphalia division Westfalia Rhynern . Most recently it was responsible for the Voerder A-Kreisligist Glückauf Möllen until summer 2016 .
Frank Saborowski played two games for the German national B team at a young age .
