Frank Schindelhauer

Frank Schindelhauer (born September 6, 1953 in Emlichheim ) is a retired German general physician in the Bundeswehr . In his last employment he was Medical Advisor at NATO in Belgium from June 2011 to August 2013 .

Life

Born in Lower Saxony, after graduating from the Graf-Friedrich-Schule in Diepholz from 1974 to 1975, he did his basic military service in the troop medical service with the supply company 30 in Nienburg / Weser . After working as a nursing assistant at the Paracelsus Clinic in Osnabrück , he returned to the Bundeswehr in 1976 as a medical officer candidate and studied human medicine at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster . After clinical induction at the Bundeswehr Hospital in Osnabrück, he received his doctorate in 1983. Numerous staff and troop assignments in the Bundeswehr medical service followed. On September 28, 2006 he took over the command of the medical command IV in Bogen , on October 1, 2007 he was appointed general doctor. In June 2011 he handed over the command to his deputy at the time. Afterwards he was Medical Advisor at NATO in Belgium from June 2011 to August 2013.

Frank Schindelhauer is married and has two sons.
