Frank Schischefsky

Frank Schischefsky (born September 7, 1967 in Kiel ) is a freelance journalist and active as the press spokesman for the ver.di union in the northern district ( Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ).

Life

After completing his commercial training at Karstadt , he developed his political activities. It was at this time that union political engagement emerged. During his training he joined the German Employees' Union (DAG).

In 1991 he began his induction as a union secretary in the DAG regional association in Hamburg. In 1992 he moved to the Schleswig-Holstein regional association and took on the duties of regional youth leader for Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

This was followed by activities as a trade union secretary in the retail sector and in the banking, savings and insurance sector. He took on managerial roles in the regional association of the German Employees' Union as a department head, organization manager and press spokesman.

In the pre-founding phase of the ver.di union , Schischefsky was the deputy head of the German salaried employee union .

In October 2010 Schischefsky also took over the position of press spokesman for the handball Bundesliga team THW Kiel , which he ended again in June 2011.

At the headquarters of the state government in Kiel, he has headed the Schleswig-Holstein state office of the union since 2012 .

Since January 1, 2013 Frank Schischefsky has been a member of the Supervisory Board of the Provinzial NordWest insurance group.

Frank Schischefsky is also known as a photographer in Schleswig-Holstein . He accompanied and documented events such as the Global Economic Symposium and was a well-known handball photographer in Germany for many years . In the Kiel area he works as a photographer and hypnotist .

Party politics

Schischefsky is a member of the ( SPD ). He led the SPD local association Gettorf for several years as chairman and is a member of the party's trade union council in Schleswig-Holstein. He was a member of the district executive committee of the SPD Rendsburg-Eckernförde .
