Kathie Browne
Kathie Browne (actually Jacqueline Katherine Browne ; born September 19, 1930 in San Luis Obispo , California - † April 8, 2003 in Los Angeles , California) was an American actress .
Life
Browne had her first small television appearance in 1957 on the series The Gray Ghost . This was followed by a variety of other appearances in television series such as in Adventure Under Water (1960-1961), Perry Mason (1960-1965), A Thousand Miles of Dust (1961), 77 Sunset Strip (1961-1964), Bonanza (1961-1964 ), Geächtet (1966), Hondo (1967) and Der Chef (1968–1974).
Films she starred in include Death Comes on Quiet (1958), City of Fear (1959), The Underwater City (1962), A Goldfish on a Leash (1964), The Brass Bottle (1964), Brainstorm (1965), Affair in Berlin (1970), 43: The Richard Petty Story (1972) and Happy Mother's Day, Love George (1973). She is the producer of the 1978 film The Crash Company , in which her husband Darren McGavin played a leading role. The couple were married from 1969 to 2003.
