Frank Teuteberg

Frank Teuteberg (* 1970 in Uslar ) is a German university professor for business informatics . Since 2007 he has held the chair for corporate accounting and business informatics at the University of Osnabrück .

Career

After studying business administration , Frank Teuteberg worked from 1996 to 2001 as a research assistant and from 2001 to 2004 as a research assistant (C1) at the chair for business informatics at the European University Viadrina with Karl Kurb .

Teuteberg received his doctorate in 2001 under Karl Kurb's dissertation with the dissertation agent-based information development in the World Wide Web using artificial neural networks and fuzzy logic .

From April 2004 to October 2007 Teuteberg headed the junior professorship in e-business and business informatics at the University of Osnabrück . He completed his evaluation as a junior professor in 2006. This was followed by further appointments to a university professorship for information systems at the Private Hanseatic University in Rostock (2007), a university professorship for business administration / corporate accounting and business informatics at the University of Osnabrück (2007), and a university professorship for business informatics at the Leopold-Franzens University in Innsbruck (2008), a university professorship for business informatics, in particular information and business process management at the Technical University of Chemnitz (2011) and a university professorship for business accounting and business informatics at the University of Osnabrück (2011).

Since 2007 Teuteberg has held the chair for corporate accounting and business informatics (UWI) at the University of Osnabrück.

His research focuses on eHealth , Industry 4.0 , Augmented Reality , Cloud Computing , Blockchain , Human-Machine Interaction, Digital Society / Digital Transformation, Open Innovation and Smart Service Systems .

Teuteberg is one of the "top 1% of the most research-intensive business informatics professors" and one of the "top 10 researcher-strongest business informatics professors" in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (in Lower Saxony, Teuteberg is the most researched business informatics professor) in the WirtschaftsWoche ranking . This list of the best is based on an analysis of the scientific publications from 2014 to 2018 by over 2500 business administration scientists in Germany, Austria and Switzerland using the VHB-Jourqual3 magazine rating .

Teuteberg is spokesman for Profile Line 1 Digital Society - Innovation - Regulation at the University of Osnabrück. He was the Conference Chair of the 12th International Conference on Business Information Systems, which took place from March 4-6, 2015 at the University of Osnabrück.
