Frank Zahn

Frank Zahn (born November 7, 1967 ; † February 8, 2017 in Berlin ) was a German lawyer and owner and managing director of Bruno Gmünder Verlag .

Frank Zahn attended the Carolinum grammar school in Osnabrück from 1978 to 1987 . He then studied at the University of Osnabrück as well as at the University of Hong Kong and the University of Language and Culture Beijing . At the University of Osnabrück he received his doctorate in 1994 with a thesis on the legal structure of joint ventures as a form of international business cooperation with the People's Republic of China . As a lawyer he worked in Frankfurt am Main , Hong Kong , Shanghai and Berlin .

In autumn 2014, Zahn founded today's Bruno Gmünder GmbH together with the publisher's founder Bruno Gmünder , after the original publisher had filed for bankruptcy. After Bruno Gmünder left, Zahn remained the sole owner of the publishing house in December 2015. The editor of the magazine Männer was considered an " LGBT icon".

In March 2017, Bruno Gmünder GmbH announced that the print magazine men will be discontinued, but the website will offer the latest news.
