Frankie Banali
Frankie Banali (* 14. November 1951 in New York City ; † 20th August 2020 in Los Angeles ) was an American rock - drummer .
life and career
Frankie Banali celebrated his greatest success with the multi- platinum metal band Quiet Riot . In addition, from 1994 he was the manager of the band. He played drums in the heavy metal band WASP , Blackthorne and Billy Idol . Banali was the drummer for Faster Pussycat and Steppenwolf for a short time .
In mid-2010, Banali and his fiancée Regina Russell started an online fundraiser via Kickstarter.com for the production of a Quiet Riot documentary; the film premiered at the Newport Beach Film Festival in April 2014 .
Banali died of pancreatic cancer on August 20, 2020 at the age of 68 .
