František Šulc (born December 13, 1978 in Trnava , Czechoslovakia ) is a Slovak handball player who is mostly used on the left back area.

The 1.86 m tall and 90 kg heavy right-handed player began playing handball in his hometown at HK 47 Trnava. After stints at HK Topol'cany and TJ Štart Nové Zámky, he played for ŠKP Bratislava, with whom he played in the 1998/99 EHF Cup and the 1999/2000 European Cup Winners' Cup . In 2000 he won the Slovak Cup. In 2004 he joined the German second division club SG Leutershausen . After two years he was signed by TSG Friesenheim , which he left after only one season for HSG Düsseldorf . After the HSG's relegation, he moved to the Hungarian club Pick Szeged for the 2010/11 season , which was runner-up behind MKB Veszprém three times. With Szeged he also reached the round of 16 of the Champions League 2010/11 and 2012/13 and was the top scorer of his team in the competition several times with over 60 hits. In February 2014, Šulc signed a contract until 2015 with the Qatar Lekhwiya Sports Club in Qatar.

With the Slovak national team , František Šulc took part in the European Championships in 2008 and the World Championships in 2009 and 2011 . So far, he has played at least 60 international matches in which he scored 249 goals.
