Franz-Joseph Bartmann

Franz-Joseph Bartmann (born July 27, 1950 in Giershagen , Sauerland ) is a German surgeon .

Life

Since 1989 he has been a senior physician at the St. Franziskus Hospital in Flensburg . After a few years in the Chamber Assembly , he was elected to the Board of Directors in 1997 and President of the Schleswig-Holstein Medical Association in 2001. It was confirmed three times by large majorities, most recently almost unanimously in August 2013.

As a member of the board of directors of the German Medical Association , he is chairman of the advanced training committees and deputy chairman of the German Senate for advanced medical training. Since 2005, as chairman of the telematics committee of the German Medical Association, he has accompanied the implementation of telematics and telemedicine in the German healthcare system. In 2013 he was made an honorary member of the German Society for Telemedicine .
