Franz Delaforgue

Franz Delaforgue (born March 14, 1887 in Bad Neuenahr , † December 24, 1965 in Krefeld ) was a German painter from the Düsseldorf School . He created impressionistic -scale landscape , animal and genre painting and still life .

Life

Delaforgue studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy . There he was a master student of Eugen Dücker . From 1897 he lived in Bielefeld , from 1905 in Düsseldorf , where he belonged to the artists' association Malkasten . In 1914 he was a participant in the Great Berlin Art Exhibition . Delaforgue was a member of the Reich Association of German Artists .
