Franz Haslehner

Franz Haslehner (born February 1, 1933 in St. Agatha ; † February 26, 2019 ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ). From 1970 to 1995 he was mayor of Waizenkirchen and from 1973 to 1990 member of the Upper Austrian state parliament .

Life

Franz Haslehner was a trained agricultural worker and worked as a secretary for the Upper Austrian Agricultural and Forestry Workers' Association.

From 1967 he was ÖVP councilor in Waizenkirchen, where he held the office of mayor from May 15, 1970 to March 15, 1995. On November 16, 1973 he was with the beginning of the XXI. Legislative term as a deputy of the Upper Austrian parliament sworn in , where he was a member of the Committee on National Economic Affairs, of Finance, of Public Welfare and Control. It belonged to the Upper Austrian Landtag until December 6, 1990 in the XXIII. Legislative period .

Haslehner was the founding chairman of the Aschachtal cleanliness association , deputy chairman of the Grieskirchen district waste association and chairman of the mayors' conference of the Grieskirchen district .
