Franz Hermann Reschke (born April 17, 1871 in Berlin ; † August 24, 1934 in Lüneburg ) was a German administrative lawyer and member of the DNVP .

Life

Franz Hermann Reschke studied law in Heidelberg , where he was a member of the Corps Rhenania , and in Berlin. After passing the state examination, internship in Kassel and the doctorate to Dr. jur. Reschke was employed from 1901 in the government and in the high presidium in Posen . In 1906 he succeeded Cuno von Schulzen as district administrator in Syke . From 1910 to 1919 he was a member of the Hanover Provincial Parliament. In 1917 he was briefly appointed to the Reich grain department . From 1919 to 1924 he worked as a consultant in the Prussian Ministry of Finance. In 1924 he moved to the Prussian State Ministry as a Ministerialrat . At the same time he worked as deputy Prussian representative to the State Council until 1932. In the course of the deposition of the Prussian state government Braun-Severing ( Preussenschlag ) he was appointed regional president in Lüneburg by the Papen government in October 1932 . In 1934 he was retired due to age.

His son was the future Lord Mayor of Mannheim , Hans Reschke .
