Crematorium at the municipal urn cemetery

In the 1920s, together with Hans Pontiller , he made several water basins, some of them decorated with figures, for the garden of the New Manor House in the Schmiedleithen scythe factory ( Grünburg municipality ). In 1923 he adapted the Steyr industrial hall for the Volkskino Gesellschaft founded by the Arbeiterheim association . The cinema began operating in 1923. In 1926/27, the Steyr crematorium was built according to his plans and opened in 1927. In the same year, he and Paul Theer built buildings for the Klagenfurt lido . His war memorial for the fallen of the First World War at the parish church of Steyr was unveiled in 1933, the bronze figure of the Archangel Michael on the name plaques is a design by Josef Franz Riedel and was made by Adolf Wagner von der Mühl (1884–1962). A figure of Mary was originally intended in Koppelhuber's design. Since 1982 a cube erected in front of the memorial by the local stonemason, Helmut Buric, has also commemorated the victims of the Second World War. From 1954 Koppelhuber was the architect of the scythe hammer with the addition of the Petermandl knife collection behind the Innerberger Stadel (Heimathaus Steyr, today the Museum of the City of Steyr ). This happened according to plans of the scythe factory Josef Zeitlinger from Leonstein , who had made the scythe hammer available. In 1957 the scythe hammer and knife collection were opened.
