Franz Latzka

Franz Latzka (born August 28, 1901 in Vienna ; † July 9, 1977 there ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ).

Life

Franz Latzka attended by the national and public school , the schools in Vienna and Hollabrunn and laid in 1922 the Matura from. First he studied three semesters at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences , but switched to the University of Vienna , where he studied law. In 1927 he received his doctorate .

After a year of legal practice , Latzka became an employee in the regional financial office in Vienna. In 1936 he became an employee of the Federal Ministry for Social Administration, today's Federal Ministry for Labor, Social Affairs and Consumer Protection . Here Latzka became the office manager of State Secretary Hans Rott . In 1938, after the annexation of Austria , Latzka also had to vacate his office chair. From 1939 to 1945 he worked as an authorized signatory at the Garvenswerke .

From 1945 Latzka found work again in the Federal Ministry of Social Affairs. In December of the same year he became a member of the ÖVP in the Federal Council . However, he only belonged to the regional chamber until February 1947.
